I am an expert in teaching children and adults that cooking is easy and fun.

Welcome to my kitchen!

I have come a long way to show you how to make cooking delicious and fun. The country of my origin is Poland, where I grew up in a family with rich culinary tradition. The other nation I draw upon a lot is Italy. Surprisingly, both cooking traditions have a lot in common!

Finally, there is 5 Element Cooking, which rounds up both cuisines and adds the element of balance in my cooking. The method originates in Traditional Chinese Medicine and focuses on balancing all 5 flavours to bring out the deliciousness in anything you make. Because only in this way will you want to cook more!

As a child I spent days with my grandma in her kitchen watching her cook all sorts of things, from pasta and dumplings, through soups and stews to bao buns, doughnuts, yeast cakes and breads. I watched her make pickles, preserves, fermented foods and cheeses.

In Poland of my childhood there were very few processed foods available, so everyone cooked at home and passed the skill to the young generation. It is from her that I learnt how to cook from scratch and that nothing can beat the flavour of food made at home.

Now, I am doing the same in my family: teaching my daughters what I learnt form my grandma. Also, I would love to share my skills with you. Teaching comes super easy and naturally to me as this is a part of my formal education.

For me, time spent in the kitchen means time of creativity, good fun and relaxation. I live in beautiful Cornwall, UK where creativity is thriving and you can meet there many amazing creatives. It is also a place where you can relax for sure. No need to say more! I decided to add a little bit to it with good fun in the kitchen.
